My name is Giovanny Franco, president of Franco’s Professional Photo Lab. My brother Nataly and I started Franco’s Photo Lab in March of 1971 (I had years of photo lab experience) in the basement of our row house in Baltimore. Natalie started to market our photo lab to professional photographers that we had opened our own photo lab with outstanding quality and the lowest price around. We embraced the demand for wedding, portrait, sports, Scholl portraits; the demand for our high quality photo finishing was tremendous as a result in the spring of 1974, we purchased 5-7 new Kodak photo finishing printers, and relocated our photo lab to 1922-1924 fleet st located in the historic Fells Point neighborhood of Baltimore.

We helped numerous local photographers by upping their profits; turn around time and providing a better quality of service.

In the spring of 1985, we listened to our clients that parking in the Fells Point neighborhood was horrible and relocated to our Baltimore County location with its own private parking.

In July of 2000 my brother Nataly and my nice Lina Franco agree that we had to embrace and invest $475,000 on the new photo digital technology to start a new full service digital photo lab that would be founded on helping photographers experience the same success as we have through education, networking, and marketing.
